The one certainty with the Nuclear Power people is that they continuously deny the severity to preserve a false hope in the infallibility of their planning, and then they shamelessly outright lie to what is actually happening on the ground.
So the question is not, "Is Fukushima as bad as Chernobyl?" The question rightly should be, "How many times WORSE than Chernobyl is it?
Dr Paolo Scampa, a widely know EU Physicist, single handedly popularized the easily understood Lethal Doses concept. “Lethal Doses” is a world wide, well understood idea that strips Physics bare and offers a brilliant, understandable explanation for all the physics gobbledygook Intelligence agencies and their respective governments use to disguise the brutal truths of the Fukushima Daiichi Disaster.
"Three thousand billion (3,000,000,000,000) Lethal Doses of Radiation means there are 429 Lethal Doses chasing each and every one of us on the planet, to put it in a nutshell. This is up from about 70 Billion Lethal Doses March 23, 2011."
The following link takes a look at the parametrics of the two meltdown incidents and what can be inferred from one incident to the other. Chernobyl” ejected 30% of one 192-ton, three-month old reactor core. That’s 57.6 radioactive tons thrown into the air by fire and explosions. The tiny radioactive and burning smoke particles have traveled around the world many times since 1979, killing an estimated one million people to date from radiation caused illnesses and cancers
The appropriate comparison of the two meltdown incidents should really be from a "lethal dosage emitted basis" and incredibly we learn that Fukushima equals 3000 billion lethal doses!

Now the world will finally start to appreciate what insanity nuclear power really is.
Now the next question is what happens to Nuclear Waste?
See: Into Eternity http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AWcle6lM_Q This is a real eye opener!
Wade through this material and one's mind starts to center on what an unspeakable crime has been perpetrated against humanity.
The bottom line is, we are going to have to quickly find another planet.
